Our Church is an independent, fundamental, Bible believing, Baptist Church.  We defend, and use the King James Version of the Bible, and still sing from hymn books in our services.  We hold firm to those things which are associated with the ‘Old Time Religion’ of years gone by.

East Hill Baptist Church believes in the words of Mark 16:15… “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”  Soul winning and missions are very important to us.  We have transportation available to anyone in the area who may need a ride to church.

We believe the Bible clearly teaches:

             The Virgin Birth of Christ

             The Deity of Christ

             The Death, Burial, and Bodily Resurrection of Christ

             Jesus is the Only Way of Salvation

             Salvation is by Grace, through Faith

             A Literal Heaven

             A Literal Hell

             The Verbal Inspiration of Scripture

Dear Friend, our priority is your eternal soul.  Nothing is more important!  Matthew 16:26 states, “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?  Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?  Your soul is valuable to us, and priceless to God.

If you were to answer the question, “Do you know where will you will be in eternity,” what would be your answer?  If I asked you, “Just how sure are you that you are going to heaven when you die?” what would you say?  Would you be 5% sure?  Or perhaps you would say 50%, 75%, or 95%  sure?  God’s way of salvation is written in the Bible so that you can prepare for eternity now, and be 100% sure that heaven is your eternal home.

God tells us we all need to be saved, which also means to be born again.  John 3:3 says, “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, (or truly, truly), I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

God also tells us He certainly wants us to be saved.  In I Timothy 2:4, you will find these words: “Who will have all men to be saved, and come unto the knowledge of the truth.”    II Peter 3:9 tells us that God is “not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”

Do you want to be saved?  The decision is yours to make.  Please continue reading, and accept, by faith, what God says in His Holy Word.

Romans 3:10  “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one”

Romans 3:23  “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”

THE PENALTY FOR SIN IS DEATH AND HELL

Romans 5:12  “Wherefore, as by one man (Adam) sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.”           

Romans 6:23a  “For the wages of sin is death…” 

JESUS DIED ON THE CROSS TO PAY FOR OUR SINS

Romans 5:8  “But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

JESUS ASKS YOU TO BELIEVE IN HIM, AND INVITES YOU TO BE SAVED

Romans 10:9,10  “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Romans 10:13  “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

ACCEPT WHAT JESUS DID FOR YOU, AND BY FAITH, ASK HIM TO SAVE YOU!

Dear Lord, I confess that I am a guilty sinner and need to be saved.  I believe that Jesus died on the cross to pay my sin debt.  Please forgive my sins, come into my heart, and save my soul.

Romans 6:23  “For the wages of sin is death; but the GIFT of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
